Overview

Vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure information flow for occupant safety, fleet operations, and family visibility.

QDT-OSMS is designed to support seamless information flow from vehicles to other vehicles, infrastructure, and relevant people. Depending on configuration, the system can notify users, share location, surface accident or breakdown events, and help operations teams monitor fleets. Parent and student-safety scenarios are supported where the operating context requires them. Remote vehicle shutdown, where offered, is a configurable capability—not a guaranteed feature of every deployment.

Capabilities vary by configuration, device availability, network coverage, and the policies of the operating organisation. Remote shutdown is optional and must be explicitly scoped.
